How long do the procedures take?
Procedures involving Botox and Fillers may be done during a lunch break.
May I go back to work on the same day?
If you are having botox or fillers you can go back to work. Treatments with Dermapen or Chemical Peels can cause some redness which may require up to 12 hours to resolve.
How quickly will I see results?
Botox can take 2-3 days to start working with the final result at 2 weeks. The effects of treatment with Fillers such as Juvederm are instantaneous. Peels may take a few days to work and Dermapen results can be usually seen in 6 weeks.
How long do the results last?
Botox typically lasts around 4 months. The effects of Fillers usually last 9-12 months. The results of Dermapen, as well as a chemical peel, can last over a year.

Myth #1 – Botox is dangerous
Fact – Botox has been safely used in medical treatments since the early Eighties. Both short and long-term scientific studies consistently show that when used correctly, Botox for cosmetic use is not associated with any serious side effects.
Myth #2 – Botox is Rat Poison
Fact – Botox is the brand name for Botulinum Toxin type A, a purified protein which, like many antibiotics, is derived from a bacterium. It is not rat poison and is not associated with any serious side effects when used correctly in cosmetic treatments. Botox is injected into certain muscles of the face (just under the skin) to cause them to relax, using tiny needles. When the muscles relax, the overlying fine lines and wrinkles soften or disappear altogether. When used correctly, Botox produces a natural look.
Myth #3 – Botox injections are painful
Fact – Botox involves tiny needle injections just under the skin. Treatments take a few seconds to perform and are not painful.
Myth #4 – Botox spreads to the brain and liver
Fact – Botox stays in the area where it is injected and does not spread to the brain or liver. It is biodegradable and remains in the muscle for four months; then broken down by the body and excreted naturally.
Myth #5 – Anyone can perform Botox injections
Fact– Botox involves an intimate knowledge of facial anatomy and physiology. Treatments with Botox are best performed by an experienced medical doctor with specialist training. Dr. Harris is a highly experienced medical doctor who has safely performed over 25 thousand procedures.
Myth #6 – Botox makes wrinkles worse over time
Fact – Botox usually lasts for four months, after which time it is eliminated naturally by the body. The wrinkles then return to their former state, but Botox does not make wrinkles worse. In fact, with repeated treatments, Botox trains the muscles to relax so that the overlying wrinkles remain softer over longer periods of time.
